maikuchiga, which means “monkey history” in ticuna, is a rehabilitation and reintegration center for rescued monkeys and wildlife that are victims of illegal trafficking, used as pets, and injured by hunting or naturally, who after due process are released into the colombian amazon rainforest. this foundation is located in the ticuna community of mocagua. this destination allows us to see monkeys and local fauna, although more importantly, thanks to your visit, it allows us to contribute to local initiatives for the conservation and care of the jungle ecosystem.
