Wochine in Ticuna means Kapok tree or Arbol Ceiba, From Puerto Nariño enterin the Ceibas forests for approximately one hour, you will reach the Wochine Reserve, an indigenous ticuna association dedicated to fish farming in the region. you will be able to appreciate the victoria regia or the lotus flower, the largest flower in the world. you will meet the imposing pirarucú, the largest freshwater fish in the amazon, while observing the rich aquatic fauna and birds in their natural habitat. from a viewing point, you will be able to see alligators and turtles in the lagoon, as well as the majestic pirarucú that emerge in search of food. in addition, you will be able to interact with different species of monkeys that freely visit the reserve.
